Our Vision
To build a progressive and inclusive equestrian community where riders of all backgrounds can grow with confidence, and horses are respected as partners, not tools.
We envision a world where ethical training, education, and opportunity go hand-in-hand—both in Australia and internationally.
Our Mission
At Hindle Horsemanship, our mission is to:
- Teach ethical, practical horsemanship based on mutual trust and clear communication
- Promote a safe and inclusive space where riders of all ages and abilities feel empowered
- Support the health, happiness, and training of every horse in our care
- Encourage continual learning for riders, coaches, and handlers alike
- Foster strong community ties through education, competition, and collaboration
We proudly support pathways for youth, adults, and new horse owners to engage confidently with the equestrian world—whether that’s through riding lessons, camps, clinics, or horsemanship mentorship.
Meet the Founder - Alexandra Hindle
Alexandra Hindle is the heart and driving force behind Hindle Horsemanship. A sixth-generation horse trainer, Alex has spent her life immersed in the equestrian world—but her path has been anything but conventional.

After growing up in rural Australia, Alex ventured overseas and spent seven transformative years living and working in Mexico, where she founded Hindle Horsemanship in 2018. Her mission was simple yet powerful: to promote ethical horsemanship and create more opportunities for women in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
During her time in Mexico, Alex performed liberty and trick shows across the country with her remarkable team of horses, taught vaulting, and worked for six months in a dressage school refining her classical foundation. She also delivered numerous clinics on a wide range of horsemanship topics—including a two-month colt starting program for the Mexican Army.
Her international experience includes competing in Ranch Sorting and Working Equitation, and she remains a sought-after clinician, known for her engaging teaching style, deep understanding of horse behaviour, and commitment to ethical, progressive training methods.
Today, Alex continues to travel back to Mexico each year to deliver a tour of clinics, maintaining strong ties to the community that helped shape the early years of Hindle Horsemanship. She is also a regular guest speaker at events across Australia, sharing insights not only on horses and training but also on resilience, personal growth, and the transformative power of working with animals.
Now based in Queensland, Alex continues to pour her knowledge and passion into Hindle Horsemanship. When she’s not teaching or mentoring clients, you’ll find her travelling the campdraft circuit across Australia—competing with a truckload of client horses and supporting her students in their own competitive journeys.
