Ride with Confidence, Connection, and Joy

Our adult riding lessons are designed for beginners and experienced riders alike, helping you build confidence, skills, and a deeper connection with your horse. Whether you’re returning to riding or starting fresh, lessons combine practical riding with horsemanship and groundwork, all in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Saddle Up at Any Age

Whether you’re returning to the saddle after years away or starting from scratch, our adult riding lessons are designed to help you feel confident, capable, and connected—with your horse and yourself. We welcome riders of all experience levels and tailor our lessons to meet you where you're at, with clear instruction and supportive coaching.

At Hindle Horsemanship, we understand that adult learners often value a deeper understanding of why things are done a certain way. That’s why our approach goes beyond just riding—we teach groundwork, horse behaviour, and safe horse handling so you can build a well-rounded skillset. Many of our adult riders find the experience not only educational but also deeply therapeutic and empowering.

Some adults also choose to start lessons because their children have begun riding and they want to feel knowledgeable, confident, and safe around horses. It’s a wonderful way to share responsibility, build understanding, and enjoy a shared passion as a family.

You don’t need to own a horse to start—we have a team of well-trained, kind horses suited for all levels of riders. If your goal is eventually to own your own horse, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

What to Expect:

  • Individual or small group lessons tailored to your goals
  • Experienced instructors who offer patient, step-by-step guidance
  • Focus on safety, communication, and partnership with the horse
  • Opportunities to explore different disciplines like trail riding, working equitation, and dressage
  • A supportive and welcoming community of like-minded horse lovers

For those wanting to take their learning further, Equestrian Australia Certificates in Introductory Horse Management and Introductory Riding are also available for adults. These nationally recognised qualifications are an excellent stepping stone for anyone considering horse ownership or working in the equestrian industry. They are also an essential first step for those interested in becoming an EA-accredited coach.

Mums & Women’s Riding Groups

We offer relaxed, confidence-building group sessions specifically for mums and women looking to reconnect with horses or simply enjoy some time out for themselves.

These weekly sessions are a great way to:

  • Build confidence at your own pace in a supportive group
  • Enjoy the company of other like-minded women
  • Learn horsemanship skills in a fun, pressure-free environment
  • Take a break from the daily juggle and do something just for you

Whether you're a complete beginner or easing back into the saddle, our women’s groups are welcoming, encouraging, and all about connection—both with horses and with each other.

Whether you’re looking to build confidence, reconnect with horses, or simply try something new, we’d love to hear from you.
